A range of public open spaces are due for upgrades as part of the City of Mandurah's annual Parks Renewal Program, and now is the time to have your say on these important local spaces.
Parks identified as part of the program include:
Before concept plans are developed for each park upgrade or renewal, we need your feedback to make sure these great spaces can cater to our entire community. Keen to see a new swing set installed? Or some extra paths to help connect areas? We want to hear from you!
Community feedback plays a vital role in helping us create spaces, places, and neighbourhoods that work for all Mandurah residents.

Florida Foreshore, Dawesville
Consultation
Florida Beach Foreshore is due for an upgrade, and we need your feedback to help us make this vibrant local park a better space for our community. Your feedback may capture additions you would like to see in the park (such as new play equipment, seating, shelters etc.) or areas of the park you would like to retain.
There are mature trees in this park, which will be protected throughout construction. Works are expected to commence in the 2026/27 financial year.

Watersun Reserve Basketball Court, Silver Sands
Consultation
Watersun Reserve Basketball Court is due for a renewal, with works to commence in the 2026/2027 financial year. The basketball post, backboard and hoop are due for renewal.
We are looking for community feedback on what we should replace this basketball court with - it could be something like a half-court tennis rebound wall, a table tennis / ping pong table, soccer goals, or a bocce area. You can view images showcasing some of the ideas for this space on this webpage.
There is a modest budget and limited scope of works so the upgrades will be minor, aimed at best reflecting how the community would like to use this space.

Darwin Terrace viewing platforms, Dudley Park

The two viewing platforms along Darwin Terrace are due to be upgraded, making now a great time for you to give us your thoughts on how we can improve this vibrant reserve area further.
We want to know how you use the platforms, and what you would include in any upgrades around the area (this could be items such as park furniture, barbecues, or more native planting).

Olive Park Reserve is a feature space along the water's edge in Falcon, and plays a vital role in connecting Mandurah locals with our iconic waterways. We want to improve the playground on the reserve to enhance the experience for those who use it, and we need your feedback to help make that happen.
If you have kids who regularly enjoy play time at this spot or have a great idea for how to make the playground safer, more accessible, or more engaging, we want to hear from you!

The BMX pump track at Oaklands Reserve is a popular spot for young locals to exercise and enjoy time outdoors. The space is due for an upgrade, particularly the pump track, and we want your ideas to ensure the track can better serve those who use it.
Works will be carried out in the 2026/27 financial year.
