Consultation has concluded
The City of Mandurah has prepared a draft Landscape Masterplan for the upgrade of the Park in Pebble Beach Boulevard (south), Meadow Springs. The park is located behind Coles at Meadow Spring's shopping centre.
Input from the local community is greatly valued and will be used to inform the design process.
What does the draft plan include?
In addition to the areas that the community indicates are important through this community consultation process, the plan will likely include elements such as:
maintain the overall character of the park as a relaxing place to walk around and enjoy nature
beautify the park by planting more native trees, shrubs and groundcovers
create more habitat and food for the waterbirds
improve water quality of lake by implementing water sensitive urban design features
improve shade amenity around the park
improve access i.e. extend the shared path from the road to the shelter
install a small playground
provide more seating around the lake
The City is asking local residents to share their thoughts and comments on the vision for Pebble Beach Boulevard Park to guide the development of a Landscape Masterplan.
The first round of comments from residents and the local community are to be submitted by Friday February 14 2020.

Construction Commencement
Works are due to commence in January 2021. A small playground will be installed at the top of the embankment near Tyneside Loop.
The boardwalk and viewing platform will be upgraded shortly afterwards. Additional seating to be installed on the viewing platform overlooking the lake and two new picnic settings will be installed in the nearby shelter.
Planting of native trees, shrubs and groundcovers will take place in June 2021. Future works will include implementing water sensitive urban design planting around the lake to improve the water quality of the lake.
