Consultation has concluded

The park is located between Tyneside Loop and Pebble Beach Boulevard in Meadow Springs and features a freshwater lake which is home to waterbirds.
The design intent is to maintain the overall character of the park as a relaxing place to walk around and enjoy nature.

The City of Mandurah has prepared a draft Landscape Masterplan for the upgrade of the Park in Pebble Beach Boulevard (south), Meadow Springs. The park is located behind Coles at Meadow Spring's shopping centre.

Input from the local community is greatly valued and will be used to inform the design process.

What does the draft plan include?

In addition to the areas that the community indicates are important through this community consultation process, the plan will likely include elements such as:

  • maintain the overall character of the park as a relaxing place to walk around and enjoy nature
  • beautify the park by planting more native trees, shrubs and groundcovers
  • create more habitat and food for the waterbirds
  • improve water quality of lake by implementing water sensitive urban design features
  • improve shade amenity around the park
  • improve access i.e. extend the shared path from the road to the shelter
  • install a small playground
  • provide more seating around the lake

The City is asking local residents to share their thoughts and comments on the vision for Pebble Beach Boulevard Park to guide the development of a Landscape Masterplan.

The first round of comments from residents and the local community are to be submitted by Friday February 14 2020.
