The City of Mandurah is planning a new youth park, and the local community - especially young people - can help decide what it looks like.

Proposed concept plans for the new youth park have arrived, and now's the time to have your say on the designs.

Massive thanks to all the skaters and riders who turned up to have their say on the concept plans at our recent drop-in sessions at Mandurah and Falcon skate parks.
Why this is happening
Lakelands and Madora Bay are growing fast. More families are moving in, which means more kids and teens need places to go after school and on weekends.
Mandurah already has lots of great parks, but there aren’t many spaces made just for young people. When the City spoke with the community about skate and BMX spaces, one message came through clearly: the northern suburbs need a new skate park.
Where it will be
The proposed youth park will be built at Lakelands Park. The site is close to Coastal Lakes College and the Lakelands Shopping Centre, making it easy to get to and a great place to meet up with friends.

Lakelands Youth Park is currently at this stage
Concept plans have arrived, and now is the time to have your say! We'll be heading to the local skate parks in Mandurah and Falcon to chat with our local skaters and riders first up. Following these sessions, we'll post the concept plans to this webpage for the community to have their say online. Consultation closes 30 September 2026.
