Lakelands Youth Park
Help shape a new youth park in Lakelands
Something exciting could be on the horizon for Lakelands, and your ideas can help shape it!
The City of Mandurah is planning a new youth park, and the local community - especially young people - can help decide what it looks like.
What's happening now?
Proposed concept plans for the new youth park have arrived, and now's the time to have your say on the designs.
First off, we're heading to our local skate parks to make sure those who use the parks most can give us their feedback directly. Join us for sessions at Mandurah and Falcon skate parks in August
Mandurah Skate Park session
- Thursday, 20 August
- 3pm - 6pm
Falcon Skate Park session
- Friday, 21 August

Whether you're a superstar shredder, future user of the park, or just simply interest in the project, we'd love to hear your thoughts!
Concept plans will be made available on this webpage for you to view and give your feedback online following the drop-in sessions.
Why this is happening
Lakelands and Madora Bay are growing fast. More families are moving in, which means more kids and teens need places to go after school and on weekends.
Mandurah already has lots of great parks, but there aren’t many spaces made just for young people. When the City spoke with the community about skate and BMX spaces, one message came through clearly: the northern suburbs need a new skate park.
Where it will be
The proposed youth park will be built at Lakelands Park. The site is close to Coastal Lakes College and the Lakelands Shopping Centre, making it easy to get to and a great place to meet up with friends.
