Project update: January 2025

Stage 2 upgrades to the South East Dawesville Foreshore will kick off in the coming weeks, with works set to begin by late January.

Temporary fencing will be installed at the site on Friday, 17 January, with official works commencing the following week.

Access to the site will be restricted following the installation of temporary fencing, however the beach area nearby will remain accessible.

Stage 2 upgrades will include the installation of a large fenced playground, car park, pathways, shelters and shade sails, park furniture, drink fountains, a basketball and netball halfcourt, and more. Works are expected to be completed in June 2025.

These upgrades will transform the area bordered by Thisbe Drive and Estuary Road into a vibrant space for locals to enjoy.
