Mississippi Reserve is due for an upgrade in the 2025/26 financial year, and the City of Mandurah’s Landscape Services team are wanting to hear from the community who use the park to help shape its future.
We're engaging with our community to create a park that reflects the desires of local residents. This may even include no upgrades to areas the community would like to retain.
Located off Mississippi Drive in Greenfields, Mississippi Reserve is home to many mature trees which will be protected throughout the construction period to ensure no damage happens to them.

Our community has let us know Mandurah's environment is important to them, as is having more activated parks and spaces. This is reflected in the City of Mandurah Strategic Community Plan here.
Concept plan
Thank you to everyone who had their say on the future of Mississippi Reserve. Your feedback has been reviewed by the City's Landscape Services team, with a concept plan now available. You can view the concept plan under the documents section of this webpage.
Please note: We understand there has been interest from the community regarding the drainage basin area of Mississippi. Please be aware the drainage area will be investigated next year with a view to expand the area in the future to combat the yearly flooding on the surrounding streets. There will be a landscaped component to this, which will include more planting.
