Mandurah Centre Plan: Community groups

The Mandurah Centre Plan is a blueprint for how we’ll ensure Mandurah’s centre is vibrant, accessible, and sustainable for all residents and visitors. This plan is a chance to shape how the area evolves in terms of housing, public spaces, transport, and community services.

Why community groups should get involved:

• Ensuring inclusivity – Help make sure Mandurah’s growth reflects the needs of diverse community members, including youth, seniors, and people with disabilities.
• Sustainability and green spaces – Give feedback to shape better parks, tree cover, sustainable urban design, and more housing (without the need for more clearing of the natural environment).
• Active transport and accessibility – Support improved walking and cycling networks for a more connected city.
• Community wellbeing – Ensure cultural, recreational, and social spaces are prioritised.

The City is actively seeking input from community groups to shape this plan, and your insights will help create a centre that is welcoming, liveable, and inclusive.
