About the Project
Public Parks and reserves play a valuable role in our communities. They provide a range of services including playground and picnic facilities and allow our community to gather socially, exercise, and connect with nature.
The City of Mandurah is planning a masterplan for Kangaroo Paw Park, located on Reynolds Road, Greenfields, to improve these local features. Having been built in the mid-1990s, Kangaroo Paw Park now needs a refresh and redesign to better support our growing community and urban areas. The City of Mandurah is looking to transform this space into a vibrant and welcoming place to catch up and explore nature in the local community.
Community feedback is important in informing the design process throughout the project. In addition to your feedback, the plan will consider:
Review playground and recreation spaces
Review public amenities including BBQ's shelter, seating, and lighting
Review paths and path connections
Enhance environmental considerations and incorporate local cultural values.
