The Strategy is built on extensive community engagement and research from:
The Transform Mandurah Economic Opportunities Report: This report highlights the opportunities that will lead to a resilient and self-sustaining local economy.
Multi-criteria assessment: This tool evaluates potential projects by scoring how well they meet community needs and aspirations, as well as their likely economic impact.
Extensive community feedback: Taken from the Mandurah Matters community consultation, in line with the development of the City's Strategic Community Plan.
Consultation with key industry partners and stakeholder groups.
Public consultation on the Economic Development Strategy is now complete, and the Strategy was endorsed by Council on 24 September 2024.
