Draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2026-2031
The City of Mandurah is developing the next Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) for 2026–2031, and we want to hear from you. This plan is about creating a welcoming and inclusive community where people with disability can participate, contribute and thrive.
About the Plan
The draft Plan reflects the City’s vision for strengthening access and inclusion across all areas of its operations over the next five years. This includes:
Removing barriers in services, buildings, and public spaces.
Making information easier to access.
- Improving opportunities for work and volunteering.
Supporting everyone to participate in community life.
How the Plan was made
We asked the community for input through workshops, surveys, pop-up events, meetings, and targeted sessions with City employees, Elected Members and community groups. 341 submissions were received, shaping the priorities and actions in the draft plan.
How you can get involved
We want to hear your views on the draft Plan. By sharing your thoughts, you’ll help us to:
Make sure the Plan reflects the needs of people with disability, their carers, and the wider community.
Shape future services, programs, and facilities.
- Build a more inclusive, welcoming city over the next five years.
