Welcome to the City of Mandurah Southern Beaches CHRMAP Values Survey

Balancing our desire to live near the coast and managing the impacts of coastal processes is becoming more important. The City is undertaking a project for the southern beaches to understand how coastal change may impact these beaches in the future. The Southern Beaches CHRMAP will include all of the ocean-facing coastline from Roberts Point, Halls Head to the southern end of Clifton (refer to the yellow line in the map below).

Once we understand how the coastline may change, we need to determine the most appropriate way to respond to and manage the changes, considering the trade-offs that may need to occur.
This survey aims to understand what you think is important about the coast and which elements of coastal planning and management should be prioritised.
