The Mandurah Centre Plan is a key planning tool to guide the long-term development of Mandurah’s centre. Formally known as the Mandurah Strategic Centre Precinct Structure Plan Review (MSCPSP), it is a State government policy requirement and aligns with Local Planning Scheme 12, ensuring the city is well-positioned for sustainable growth.
The plan will integrate:
Sustainable urban growth principles including housing density and mixed-use development.
Transport and infrastructure coordination to support active and public transport.
Environmental and climate resilience considerations for long-term sustainability.
Collaborative governance with state and federal partners to align with broader planning goals.
The review provides an opportunity to refine policies, ensure evidence-based decision-making, and support Mandurah’s role as a key regional centre. Stakeholder collaboration is essential to achieving a balanced, effective outcome.
The Mandurah Centre Plan covers an area spanning across Central Mandurah and including sections of Dudley Park, Silver Sands and the Mandurah Marina. You can view the entire area on the site map in the documents section of this page.
So what's happening now?
The City is reviewing the plan and wants to hear your ideas! Your input will help shape a Mandurah that works for you, your family, and future generations.
