The Mandurah Centre Plan sets the direction for how Mandurah’s centre will evolve, creating opportunities for businesses and investment. It will consider:
Better transport and parking solutions to support accessibility.
Attracting investment by ensuring Mandurah's centre is well-planned and future-ready.
Vibrant public spaces that encourage people to stay, shop, and engage.
By planning now, Mandurah can strengthen its local economy while ensuring a thriving, well-connected centre. Now is the time to get involved and help shape a business-friendly future.
The Mandurah Centre Plan covers some parts of central Mandurah, Silver Sands, the Mandurah Train Station precinct and the Mandurah Ocean Marina. Parts of Dudley Park may also be reviewed and considered. You can view the entire area on the site map in the documents section of this page.
So what's happening now?
The City is reviewing the plan and wants to hear your ideas! Your input will help shape a Mandurah that works for you, your family, and future generations.

Share As an owner of four short-term rentals in the tourism precinct, we have constant issues with vandalism and aggressive behaviour from intoxicated / mentally unstable individuals entering into the strata complexes and causing trouble, especially late at night. It would be good to have stronger CCTV coverage for police attendance and evidence along the Mandurah Terrace (intersecting with the Sutton Street area) to deter such behaviour. on FacebookShare As an owner of four short-term rentals in the tourism precinct, we have constant issues with vandalism and aggressive behaviour from intoxicated / mentally unstable individuals entering into the strata complexes and causing trouble, especially late at night. Thanks for your feedback, we know dealing with anti-social behaviour can be tough.
Improving community safety is a big part of the Mandurah Centre Plan project, and we will be able to provide more detailed updates on this as time progresses.
While it’s not specifically related to the Mandurah Centre Plan, the City is currently offering a Safety Incentive Rebate Scheme which allows residents to apply for a rebate to improve the security of their property. This includes installing CCTV cameras. You can read more about it, and more about our Community Safety strategy in general, here: https://mandurah.wa.gov.au/community/Health-and-safety/Community-safety
If you haven’t already, please sign up to our mailing list so you can be the first to know when community consultation opens for the Mandurah Centre Plan. That way, we can capture any feedback you have about community safety through our official channels.
Thank you for your contribution!
