The City of Mandurah have prepared an amendment to the Local Planning Scheme 12.
A Local Planning Scheme is the key document used to control and guide development within a local government area, and sets out procedures for the assessment and determination of new development. The amendment involves five separate changes and includes:
1. Modifying the R-Code density from R25 to R40 for the following lots:
Lots 810 and 83-91 (No. 1 - 19 south side) Adana Street, Mandurah;
Lots 500 and 109 - 121 (No. 54 - 80 north eastern side) Boundary Road, Mandurah.
2. Modifying the R-Code density from R10 to R5 for the following lots:
Lots 201 – 210 Bulara Road, Greenfields; and
Lots 211 – 220 Balwina Road, Greenfields
3. Rezoning Lot 9000 Country Club Drive, Dawesville from ‘Residential (R60)’ to ‘Tourist’; and adding the following to Table 4 (Specified Additional Use for Zoned Land in Scheme Area)

As part of the advertising process, you have the opportunity to provide comments on the Amendment. Due to the Christmas holiday period, an extended period for submissions is being made available, with comments being sought by Wednesday, 8 February 2023.

All submissions received will be assessed and a report will be considered by Council prior to Council resolving whether it supports the amendment either with or without modification. Council’s decision, together with all submissions received, will be forwarded to the Western Australian Planning Commission and with the final determination on the Amendment to be made by the Minister for Planning.
