Festivals and events are at the heart of Mandurah. They help to bring people together, showcase Mandurah’s unique culture and natural beauty, and support local businesses.
Mandurah has a long history of running events where everyone can get involved and have some fun in our beautiful city. For more than 30 years, these events have grown alongside Mandurah and helped to shape our vibrant calendar of activities.
To keep this momentum going, we’re committed to a strong, inclusive, and sustainable events program. The Draft Festivals and Events Strategy 2025–2029 sets out our vision for attracting, growing, and delivering festivals and events that enrich the lives of our community - now and into the future.
This Strategy takes a planned approach to ensure festivals and events in Mandurah:
Foster community pride and connection through diverse and inclusive experiences
Support local businesses and encourage economic growth
Celebrate Mandurah’s spirit and identity, making our city a destination of choice for residents and visitors
Make the best use of our venues, spaces, and natural surroundings to create high-quality events for all
