In these unprecedented circumstances, there has never been a more important time for our community to stick together. We all have a role to play in helping each other right now.

Visit mandurah.wa.gov.au or facebook.com/cityofmandurah for updated information.

Businesses can visit the COVID-19 Business Support page to find the latest information on financial assistance, eligibility and timing for new State and Federal Government support.

The City is working with all sectors in the community to shape and implement the Mandurah Community COVID-19 Response Plan.

The Plan has three core components:

1. Check-in with each other

What the City is doing:
How you can help:
You may receive a phone call from a City of Mandurah staff member or community volunteer just to check in with you.
Check in on your neighbours in a safe way, share phone numbers and help each other out where you can.

2. Support Network Co-ordination

What the City is doing:
How you can help:
Work with agencies, community organisations and groups to coordinate support activity across our community.
If you’re part of a group that can help or have an idea, let us know about it below!

3. Talk to each other

What the City is doing:
How you can help:
Make sure our community is connected, coordinated and keeping up to date with the best information to keep people safe.
Share your positive stories of community support below, so we can help get the message out.

Our city with a village heart has seen a whopping 4 tonnes of food distributed to local people in need, over the past few weeks.

In response to COVID-19, the City registered with Second Bite to redistribute surplus food from across the retail network to 14 local emergency relief providers.

Our Seniors Centre is being used as a distribution point and our staff have loved helping providers to get fresh food and supplies out to those impacted by COVID-19. Plus an additional 500kg of carrots and 13kg of tomatoes went to the animals at Peel Zoo.
