Stage 1 & 2 Construction Update - October 2023

Coodanup Foreshore Stage 1 and 2 construction is progressing on schedule, with all major concrete works completed.

The compacted limestone paths will be finished in the next week, along with kerbing around garden beds, paths, and the playground.

The irrigation tank has been installed on-site, and the artistic fabricated screening for the tank is set to be installed in mid-November.

Current works include the demolition of the existing footpath adjacent to Peel Parade to move the footpath inside the boundary and relocate the bollards onto the roadside to protect pedestrians. During this time, pedestrians will be directed onto the new path, which is already installed.

The extension to the existing car park is scheduled to start in the week of Monday, October 16, along with the reinstallation of bollards adjacent to the road.

The majority of park furniture will be installed in mid to late November, with the remaining furniture, nature play items, and the new playground items to be installed in late January 2024. The pétanque court and seating will also be installed in January 2024.
