Coodanup Foreshore project update - August 2025

Coodanup Foreshore upgrades are tracking well, with Stage 3 works underway and some key milestones being reached in recent weeks.
Works to Stage 4 will also kick off in the coming weeks. See our latest update below.
Stage 3 (Creery Wetlands to east of Wamba Road)
Focused on enhancing the connection and useability of the area, Stage 3 works undertaken so far include:
- Concrete seat walls installed
- Preparation for new pathways complete
- Installation of new car park, including retaining wall and pavement layers
The full scope of Stage 3 will include installing bench seating and signage, a shelter with picnic tables, bike racks, seated viewing areas, estuary access via a native couch ramp, and a limestone walking trail.
These works follow the renewal of a series of boardwalks in the Stage 3 zone earlier this year, which has already improved safety and accessibility in the area.
Stage 3 works are scheduled to be completed by late September. Expected completion was originally slated for August 2025, however this has been postponed due to wet weather conditions during the works period.
Stage 4 (Beacham Street to William Street)
Works for Stage 4 upgrades are set to commence in mid-September with the installation of concrete paths.
Temporary fencing will be installed on site prior to works beginning.
Stage 4 will include further improved path connections, seating, picnic tables, shelter, enhancing the natural environment and adding to the area’s existing amenity.
