The City is applying for membership to the Global Network of Age-Friendly Cities and Communities through the World Health Organisation.
This membership will be instrumental in supporting the introduction of age-friendly principles and initiatives here in Mandurah, particularly, the development of the City’s Age-Friendly Strategy.
Our application to join this esteemed network is not just a procedural step; it marks a commitment to shaping a future where our city caters to the needs and aspirations of all its residents, especially our older residents.
With over 32% of Mandurah's population aged 55 and above, it is crucial that we prioritise creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
