Access and Inclusion Plan 2020-2025
Consultation has concluded
The City of Mandurah is seeking your input into the development of a revised Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP) 2020-2025.
The purpose of the AIP is to assist to ensure that all people, including people with disability, are welcomed and included in the City of Mandurah and have equitable access to buildings, information, public consultations, complaints processes, services and employment.
We welcome your ideas on how we can make our community more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
How can you get involved, find out more or provide feedback?
- Complete the community survey online or collect/request a hard copy.
- Attend an online or face to face community focus group - register below.
- Provide feedback to the City’s Community Development Officer (Access and Inclusion) – Fiona Allen.
- Provide feedback directly to the consultant assisting the City to engage with our community - Leanda Syme.

The online survey is open until 5pm Wednesday 16 September 2020 and be be accessed at: https://www.research.net/r/MandurahCommunity
Hard copies of the community survey can be printed off via documents (right hand side of this page) and are also available at the following locations:

Join a community focus group
Registration is required at all community focus sessions and can be completed below or by contacting Fiona Allen via email or by phoning 9550 3256.
- Online session hosted by Department of Local Government, Sport and Culture Industries, 12 August 6.30pm to 8pm
- In-person session at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre (MPAC) - dance studio room, 26 August 9.30am to 11.30am
- In-person session at the Billy Dower Youth Centre for 12-25 years of age, 27 August 4pm to 6pm
- Online sesion, 2 September, 5.30pm to 7pm
An Auslan interpreter will be available at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre community session on 26 August 2020.
ACROD parking and a wheelchair accessible bathroom will be available at both in-person community sessions.
Please advise on registration if you require an Auslan interpreter or other support to participate in the focus groups and/or dietary requirements, or contact Fiona Allen.
