The City of Mandurah is developing the next Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) for 2026–2031. This plan is about creating a welcoming and inclusive community where people with disability can participate, contribute and thrive.

About the Plan

The draft Plan reflects the City’s vision for strengthening access and inclusion across all areas of its operations over the next five years. This includes:

  • Removing barriers in services, buildings, and public spaces.

  • Making information easier to access.

  • Improving opportunities for work and volunteering.
  • Supporting everyone to participate in community life.

How the Plan was made

We asked the community for input through workshops, surveys, pop-up events, meetings, and targeted sessions with City employees, Elected Members and community groups. 341 submissions were received, shaping the priorities and actions in the draft plan.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the online survey and provide feedback in person at the drop-in session.

Feedback on the Draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2026-2031 has now closed.
